DPP RED PR 254

by adrien

I don’t know why it took me so long to discover how amazingly red the pigment DPP Red is (PR 254, nicknamed “Ferrari Red”, see: http://blog.cleveland.com/pdextra/2007/10/pollock_cuts.html) But believe me, It’s truly amazingly red, more saturated than any Cadmium Red. It’s good news, since Cadmium pigments are part of my most toxic stuff here in the studio, so I am quite happy to say “bye bye Cadmium Red, you wont poison me anymore!” :)

Impossible to display this color on a computer, but believe me if you want a pure Red with super-high chroma and lightfastness, you want PR 254!
