LABORATORY DEVICES I POSSESS AND WORK WITH:

argyllcmslogox_ritecolormunkiphoto

glass-spectrums

I use the Colormunki Spectrophotometer with ArgyllCMS free software in order to get raw spectral data from this amazingly affordable and polyvalent machine.

This is how I measure Sunlight, light sources, surface colors, glass colors, paints, pigments, etc.

I have two complementary digital cameras, a Canon G1X that I use for documentation and light measurements, and a sigma DP2 meryll for its incredible sensor resolution for documentation. I develop photos with DCRAW for various purposes including getting linear raw data, and Hugin to make very high resolution photography

I also use a simple piece of diffusive plexiglas to measure CCD & optics non-linearity

I use CIE colorimetry to measure colors, calculate color mixtures, compute visual appearance in diverse light conditions, and plenty of other things
